Neopentyl Glycol（NPG)

· A white, odorless crystalline solid with a high melting point (124-130℃) and excellent thermal stability. It has a molecular weight of 104.15, low hygroscopicity, and good chemical inertness. Soluble in water, ethanol, ethylene glycol, and other polar solvents, it is insoluble in non-polar solvents like benzene and hexane.

1. Mainly used to produce high-performance polyester resins for industrial coatings

2. Serves as a raw material for manufacturing polyurethane foams and elastomers

3. Applied in the production of alkyd resins with excellent weather resistance

4. Used to make synthetic lubricants with high thermal stability
